patterns — guilt trips, fake progress bars, impossible CAPTCHAs, buried checkboxes, and legally dubious "consent"

screens — all designed by a fictional social media platform desperate to keep you from leaving.

Read every word. Click carefully. Close the wrong window and your session is terminated.
